Picked up from GameStop Vexx, Ty 1 and Kya (PS2)

Admittedly, I rarely play "current gen system" games but I am a sucker for the occasional adventure/action game. I think that's the one genre that has either improved or kept on track in terms of fun for me from the 32-bit era and era's before.

But anyway, how are these 3 games? Vexx I hear is very good, Kya very underrated but Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1 I have heard little of, though I see it saw a sequel, which means the 1st one had to have done pretty decently, correct?

I'm thinking of coming back and getting these titles before the deal ends (this Monday, 12/6, I heard from an employee)

I say some of those can be had cheaper, but if if want them now it's the easy way to go.

Too much $ for the Simpsons game, for what it is. I enjoyed Hit & Run, Sphinx and Rachet, but have not played the other two.

I would say that Hit & Run is worth that much. I enjoy it, it's kind of a mix between GTA and Crazy Taxi, but with Simpsons characters, and the dialogue is funny. I payed $15 for mine, I'm also a big Simpsons fan.

Vexx is great, but I didn't really like Kya or Ty much. Too many "collect x amount of inane objects to proceed" quests for me.

I haven't played simpsons or sam, and Tak is another collect-a-thon. However, Sphinx and Ratchet are awesome games, and those are great prices. Buy em!

I played through Simpsons Hit & Run and it's a very fun game. I borrowed a friend's GC copy a few months after it came out and I'll probably buy a copy of my own for my GC collection for $10-15 or so, since I'll probably want to play through it again someday.

I haven't played any of the others. I picked up Kya for $10 at the last Circuit City clearance, but I have yet to play it: come to think of it, my copy is still sealed. I'm looking for a cheap copy of Vexx for the Gamecube. I found one at an EB, but the GC case was pretty beat up, which suggests the previous owner probably didn't take care of the disc either. :roll:

Yeah, if you live by a toys"r"us you may just want to pick up Sphinx there. It's only about 5 bucks at the moment. :)

I got it for about 6 something after tax. I'm pretty sure it's a green tag item.

SUH WEET! Thanks a ton, Testament! I just went to a local TRU and picked up their 2nd to last copy of Sphinx for just $6.47!

Nooow, I'm eyeing Pitfall for PS2... is it a green tag item as well? All I know is... its current price is 12.95... even at that low price, I wanna give it a try. Is it any good of a platformer/adventure game?
