Nice Vectrex Find Today!

i finally got back to contacting this guy that called me a couple weeks ago about a vectrex....
seems he had found it at a local lawn sale and wanted to sell it..
anyway.. i went to his house, and it turned out he had the system boxed (and in REALLY nice shape) and 12 games complete.. including at least a couple i didnt have (fortress of narzod/spinball)....
i ended up striking a deal with him for $ 50.
he was pretty happy considering that he bought all that stuff a couple weeks ago for only $ 15.....
so now i have a really nice little vectrex trade box~!
ive had at least 3 really amazing vectrex finds in the past year.....

actually, i have at least 4 perfectly working vectrexes for trade/sale right now.... one is complete. dunno if im fully prepared to unload them yet- or just wait until philly03

4 Vectrex's??? I've only ever seen 2 in my life! One was at Cinciclassic last year (I think they had one there at least) and one at the Muncie, Indiana Children's Museum back in 1983. It's #2 on my dream list, right below a Colecovision...if I get those 2, I'll have all the classic systems I've ever wanted...

Don't let this seem like I'm trying to pressure you, I'm not at all...honestly. Still, 4 Vectrex's, wow!!! :shock:

havent seen a vectrex personally since i had one as a kid.

never found one in the wild thats for sure.

I've had some nice Vectrex finds myself:
My first Vectrex came with one of those store display stands (though it was missing the plastic top thing) and cost me $40.

My second I found at a tag sale for 5$ with 9 games (all with overlays).

My mother then found a box of Vectrex stuff with around 20 games (all with overlays, many with instructions, one complete) including the light pen and the 3 games for it for $5.
