I bought an item of ebay about a week ago, i know its no rush but i still have yet to receive it, but it says by the seller's name that he is no longer a registered user, what does that mean he got suspended or something?

Yea , he's been suspended.

And on a sadder note , you're probably SOL....

I've never received an item when the seller got NARU'd right after I bought an item. :/

hopefully you payed by Paypal. If so file one of their report forms ASAP. You MAY be able to get your money back.

Well, the seller did sell some items the day before my auction ended, and he received positive feedback for them, so if i do not get my item by saturday i will fill out a paypal report.

Don't give up hope yet. I bought an atari lynx from a seller that was soon after NARU'd and I stiil got it. Unfortunately, It was broken and I had to repair it myself. But the important thing is that I got it.

I got NARU'd for a while as I didnt pay my ebay bill for a couple of months, so the locked me till I payed, doesnt mean he's a dodgy seller, maybe just skint :D

I bought a bike recently, outside of ebay, from a seller I had initially contacted through ebay. I paid £500 ($900) by online bank transfer on Sunday, only to discover later on Sunday that they had been NARU'd :(

I was a bit worried, but since I have been NARU'd myself before, I did not want to be too judgemental straightaway ...

I emailed and requested an explanation, and was told that they were trying to get it resolved, so I requested full physical contact details, which they provided. I also did some investigating on the net of the name, company name and numbers that I had been given and they seemed to check out.

My payment cleared on Wednesday morning, 9am ... and my bike arrived at 10:30am - on Wednesday morning! Fastest delivery I have ever had!!!

So it's not always bad news ... did the seller have good feedback before they were NARU'd?

Well ill be damned, the tracking number said it was delivered on the 2nd yet i never received it and i was here when the mail came. i went to my post office and they told me the same thing. I believe i paid for insurance i heard that they will send you your money back but it just takes a long time. If the seller did not put insurance as i requested is there some type of fraud report i can fill out?

It doesn't matter if you requested insurance ot not, what's important is did you PAY for insurance? And if you did then hopefully you paid via Paypal so you can prove it.

If anything like this ever happens again, IMMEDIATELY file with paypal, because its first come first serve when people get refunded by a piroff seller, you can ALWAYS cancel the report with paypal after you receive the item. If something isn't IN MY HANDS within 14 days fter I send payment via paypal, I report it, unless I have online tracking, period.

Everytime a problem is resolved another pops up, now the seller shipped it to the wrong adress. The good news is that the adress is just down the street. Yet the lady says she wasn't home that day, so shes going to wait until her husband gets home, because he always gets the mail. Im almost positive that they have it since it clearly says delivered on the track & confirm page.
