Well I just purchased myself a Virtual Boy at last with three games (Mario Tennis, Wario Land and Mario Clash) for $40. But I failed to recognize that it was missing the goggles part to keep the light out.

ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Does anyone have that part they'd be willing to part with for some money? Is it even replaceable?

I'd appreciate the help, alot.

your better buying off another one i think unless someone has some lying around somewhere instead of the replaceable made ones.

yes its replaceable.
I'm not about to give up one of mine though.
You're best off playing vb in a dark room(i do anyway even with eyeshades) or riggin up a cardboard one.

i had one, but sold it for 10 bucks to a fellow DP'er

good luck finding one loose, they aren't exactly easy to come by.

Yeah, really. Once in a while, NIB eyeshades (japanese) pop up on Ebay but they usually sell for $50-$75. I've got one but there's no way I'd part with it.

Your best bet is just buying a broken VB from someone and taking the eyeshades from that.

I see VBs being parted out on eBAy all of the time. Eye shades, controllers, the stand, etc. Watch for one of those or get a broken VB off eBay (usually $15-$20 for a busted-ass one) and salvage the eyepiece. (Then toss the stand and controller up on eBay to recoup some of your costs.)

If you're looking for one of us to sell ya one for $5, it probably won't happen. But eBay will be your best source for getting one with a minimum cost/effort.

in all due seriousness, i once had an offer for forty bucks on an eye shade and still would not do it.
Good luck, indeed.

I'd sell my entire Virtual Boy for $40, shipped. With stand and some other stuff. I'll see what all I have for it.

Hi Flack,

That seems like a deal since I'm pretty sure you've taken care of yours. I guess I may return the one I bought back since a complete Virtual Boy system (i.e. with eye shades) plus a couple games could be had for about $40. I was hoping maybe I could find an eyeshade easily, but this doesn't seem like its going to be an easy or cheap endeavor.

Flack, drop me a PM once you inventorize your VB stuff :)

Thanks for your help guys...as always, yall have been very helpful and knowledgeable!

Ok, I'll be gone tomorrow but I'll get a list by Sunday.
