In the last issue, we asked for ideas for new columns for the Wire. Well, if we want new columns, we need new writers!

This is your opportunity to get in on the greatest email newsletter published by DP. :D

If you are interested in joining the Wire Staff, please send an email to DPWire@digitpress.com with "DP Wire Application" as the subject. In the email, describe what kind of new column you would want to write and why you would be a good addition to the staff. For ideas, you can visit this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46840). As of right now, there is no set number of openings. It depends solely on the applications received.

Please be aware that there is no guarantee that you will get to write the column you want, but we'll do our best. :) This is a good way to find out how well you write.

Are you interested in a UK writer writing for it? Or are you just looking at US participants?

I only ask as I write and edit a UK based retro games fanzine and would like to help in any way I can.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to give everyone who applied a position at this time. After careful review, we have decided to take on two additional staff members at this time and they are Flack and Gamereviewgod. Look for their columns in future issues of the Wire.
