Sooo...I've been using an old sofa in my bed/game room and the springs are starting to give on the thing. I'm looking into replacing it, but I can't really afford a new couch. I saw this thing at Best Buy the other day and it caught my eye. Anyone have any experience with this chair/company? Looks pretty good and it's cheap enough to pick one up, any opinions/suggestions?

That actually looks pretty cool. Kinda costly, but definitely high speed.
I use two of those canvas chairs that cradle your rear. They are the expensive kind. I was lucky enough to inherit the pair. They lack a headrest, but they are easy to store. Nice and convenient.

Heh, I have a futon too. Sometimes some of my cousins fold it over and sleep on it.

Heh. Anyone ever see pictures of the NES Hotseat? It is nothing more than a (kiddie-size) plastic chair with a joystick mounted in the right armrest, and a cord to hook it up to your NES.
I wish I had taken pictures when I had the chance; it can't be a very common item, given its bulk. (There was no way to take it apart that I could see.) It could very well still be in the junk store where I saw it two years ago.

Wasn't it the Battle Chair or something like that? I remember seeing that... I think it was for the PSX. Seemed to be huge but was an interesting concept.
But this chair seems to be cool... but I prefer the padded rocking chair I have here. Much more comfortable. :)

If you lived in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area I would sell you my extra futon. Otherwise check out goodwill. Good couches to be had there for between $20 and $40 bucks.
When I was at a Best Buy in PA, I tried out one of these video game chairs. It was awesome! Seriously. It was comfortable, had a gentle rocking, and even had a handle on the back to help tote it around. I have been looking for a local place that carries it with no luck.

I have one of those Crescent Moon shaped chairs (Similar to your pic) that just sit on the floor (no little rocking legs). It's crescent shaped, so of course it rocks, and the more you lean back, the more you can see the up high television. The only reason I have it is because when I was a kid, one of my neighbors had a similar chair that said NINTENDO chair. So naturaly, we called it the Nintendo Chair (It said it right on it). Well my wife and i were walking through Wal-Mart and we saw this thing...I did one of those reminiscing giggles and pointed it out calling it a Nintendo Chair, and she asked me about it. What do you know, the loving wife I have, I came home, and there it was....except it's not a Ninendo Chair....Whatever company makes it refers to it as a "gaming chair".
Doesn't matter, I play my Nintendo when sitting in it ;)

I have one of the "crescent moon" chairs as well, which among my family are refered to as "video game chairs". They sell them at places like Target, are pretty cheap, and if you can find one thats comfortable they are ideal for gaming because you can move it and stow it out of the way when you're done.
I am intrigued by that chair from Best Buy, but I can think of much better things to spend $80 on.

We're ditching the nasty pee-soaked couch downstairs this xmas and getting the twins each one of those chairs (the crescent moon, not the one pictured) It's gonna be the only furniture they have in their playroom (which is QUITE large)

Right now I have a loveseat.. very comfy.
A few of my Fav. past gaming butt holders. Sad that they wouldn't work in my current config. Had these in College where blacklight / Beergirl posters are the norm.
a large Moon Chair is perfect for gaming as is an old old bean bag.
