HELP !! CPS2 storage PROBLEM'S

:help: .. i got some storage problem's with them cps2(suicidal) B board's
i got my cab's outside in the garage and can't turn them on all the time (i heard something about cp2 dies if you left them unplugged for too long) also i got a few loose CPS2 B boards and they are just sitting in my room...
can anyone tell me how to storage them properlly and way's of preventing them from dying !!

Death from being unplugged? No, they die when the battery on the board is drained, which takes several years of they're not powered. Or so I understand.

http://www.cps2shock.com/ should tell you everything you need to know, including battery replacement. 1/2 size AA batteries are a little uncommon, but you can still get them off eBay.
