Look at the pic: the xchanger itself is interesting, but what about that gb proto cart (that looks official)?

based on the item description, it doesnt look like a proto, but's an eeprom used to store homebrew gb games and play them on a gameboy

It either was once a proto that is now being used for homebrew, is a prototype, or is a regular gameboy game socketed with an eeprom (if that's possible).

hmm? Well Booya! I said the most with saying the least. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. 8-)

Btw plenty of gb protos like that are around however newer types use flash as opposed to eeprom storage.

But based on the photo it looks exactly like a proto. Maybe once it was a proto.

I checked the link, and the listing has been removed by eBay. Either it's a hoax or it made eBay angry because it's a proto. (They have an no-proto rule I think. Prices got too high for them to stomach. Also, most of them were probably fakes.)
Dumb no-proto rule. How else are we supposed to get them?

Ebay killed it a few days back, in fact i think it was killed a few hours after this thread started, (It goes something like this?) nintendo still "regard" prototypes as there property, so by selling them on ebay, your infringing one of nintendo's many copyrights, thus. O_O

ebay steps on em' as soon as they show up. In saying that, i have seen many proto auctions run there full time, and end as any other auction would.

Maybe some (ebay) dumbass, over looks them?? who knows?
