DAMN YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL
I was the second high bidder, but I didn't even crack the reserve anyways. I didn't think I would, I just didn't want Neswoman to win another sweet NES game (she ALWAYS seems to outbid me on the stuff I bid on). I hope you like the game , cause you got yourself a sweet one ! :)

Wowsers...I heard the game was rare but...come on. A nintendo game that costs $400.00 dollars...as long as you think its worth it. It must be super duper rare or something. Yeah...Iam not into Nintendo really...but its interesting to see what some games go for.
Anyways Congrats!

this is the one that ended at $500 like a month ago. this one has the instructions loose, while the one i bought has them in a bag on tabs. is it supposed to be like that?

I have no idea if the instructions are supposed to be in a bag like yours , or just taped down like on the other auction. I have a feeling that the video rental store might have put them in the bag so that they didn't get lost.

Load it up on an emulator sometime... it is absolutely horrible. This just totally fries my brain even thinking about it.

well look who it is. ha ha ha. You really can't be surprised considering what you pay for Neo Titles now are you??

Most compared to some Neo Geo games, $400 is cheap. I honestly have no clue why people would collect for Neo Geo, because the majority of the games are 2d fighters and the games cost a fortune, but then again most people think paying over $100 for an old NES game is psycho.

i was watching this auction (but never planned on bidding).
i don't think that is the original bubble bath babes case. from the picture it looks like a clear plastic snap case (not the white normal snap case) with the sleeve slide in it. I also think this because it has those special blue rental snaps in the case so the rental store could put the instructions in a sleeve.
Either it isn;t the right case because of this plastic holder for the instructions, or the rental store that had this specific version ruined the case by punching these blue snaps on the box.
just what i think. anyone else might think this is the case? Could you please let us know when you get the game? I am super curious and i glad someone who posts here won this.
none the less, not a bad buy. enjoy those pixalated prono babes.

I dont have a case for my BBB but the other 2 panesians i have came in a white case with the instructions taped to the inside. That dont mean they never had a diff kind of case but i have not seen one like that before.

There's playability and style in even the worst Neo Geo game to beat out Bubble Bath babes...and there's no reason 2D fighters should be worth less. As for Neo Geo games, I have virtually the whole Samurai Spirits series (minus V and Special) and a number of other titles...none cost me much over $200.
Let's think for a moment...Metal Slug, the original, is maybe $1200 (estimating high there, I'd think) on the AES. This Bubble Bath Babes cost $400 (valued higher huh?) Does Metal Slug have three times the playability of Bubble Bath Babes? May God have mercy on your soul if you say no.

but i have metal slug for my mvs, paid like $50, and it has just as much playability or more than the aes version. if your buying rare games for their playability, and you can get a better version (in my opinion, i like playing it on the arcade machine) for cheaper, than i think your wasting your money.

I have never actually played Metal Slug, although I have heard it is a very good game that is similar to contra (one of my all time favorites). I realize that Bubble Bath Babes is no more than Mermaids of Atlantis with some naked girls in it, but it is a very unique game, that was never released for any other system. There are Metal Slug games for a bunch of different systems, that can be purchased for WAY less than $1,000. I know there is a couple for PS and some for PS2. Also, the fact that this is a porn game, makes it very funny and cool in the eyes of a non-gamer. If I showed my friends a porn game they would think its great, but if I told them I paid a grand, for a game you can play on PS2 and only pay $20 bucks, they would make fun of me until I killed myself.

well, with that logic, you could buy porn from a store for what...$20-80 a dvd? tell your friends you paid $400 for that 8-bit porn and see what the say :) i'm just messing with you, nice addition to your collection.

Whioskeel...
I would never tell anyone I paid $400 for an NES game (at least I wouldn't tell anyone who isn't a collector) , because they would NEVER understand. Just like how I don't understand someone paying a grand for Metal Slug, you don't get why someone would pay $400 for a stupid old NES game. Right? LOL Oh, and I wasn't the person who won the auction, I just stood up for him because in my mind the game is worth alot! :)

The way I see it is $400 is the same as 8 next gen games. Which is a good amount of gaming really. but to some of the collectors here who'll have even 100 games for the ps2, 8 really isn't all that much.
$400 isn't going to buy you a car, or put a down payment on a house. It's cump change really. If Bubble Bath Babes is a grail to you, then I say congrats and money worth spent. (:

They're essentially the same, except that you can cheap your way through the MVS version by hitting the coin-in as much as you want. Go figure.
Not that this really applies to the current discussion :)
