Does anyone have JoJo's Bizzare Adventure in their PSX collection? If so how is it and what do yout hink the rarity is on it (The PSX lists for the online guides are a work in progress and don't list a number for the tiles)?

I don't think its very rare. Not the most common game, but definately not hard to find.

I'm picking up one the copies I found of it at my FYE next week. Last game (that and Crazy Taxi) I'm buying before Xmas.

Not rare, but a good, wacky (and fun) game that you should check out if you like VERY odd 2D fighting styled games.
The DC version is MUCH better, but I definitely wouldn't pass up the PSX version if I needed it. ;)
Just remember, it's called "Bizarre" for a reason.

What improvments does the DC version have over the PSX counterpart then?
I read IGN's review of Jojo and even I thought it was weird! But you gotta give it to Capcom for adding a unique and bizzareness to a fighting game though.
And for you anime fans, the fighting game is based upon the 3rd part of the total JoJo storyline...

I would imagine the graphics and frame rate are better on the DC version.
There is also a new Jojo's game coming out on the PS2 soon, that's not a fighter, but I'm pretty sure an action game instead. From the screens I saw, it looked pretty cool.

Pefectly correct, mister Butta.
Dave ("arcade antics") and I spent a bit of time playing the PS2 game at E3 way back in May. Dave was more jazzed about it than I was but I'll admit it's a very original game. In one of the scenes, you chase around a character who can create a "zipper" in mid-air and walk through it (you can't), then re-appear somewhere else on that level. Of course, you have to find her again and attempt to pummel her before she does it again. I think I chased this character through that zipper about a dozen times before finally handing the controller over to someone with more patience (or skills!).

How often did this character go into "zipperspace" then? Animerica did a story on JoJo's bizarreness actually and most the characters are takes or parodies on pop culture icons and items.
Anyhow, it's anime related and it looked bizzare enough to be an intresting add to my collection. Joe, any idea on a rating # for this title yet?
