NES: Game Action Replay question(s)..

I recently got a GAR and have been having a hell of a time to get it to work.

How do you know (w/o testing the voltage on the battery) if your GAR is dead or working? If you plug a game into a dead GAR, would the game still load? Or would you get a blank screen?

Has anyone been able to dump the GAR since this topic was last visited?

I know the GAR has been dumped since I contributed a working GAR to getting it dumped. I do not have the code from the chips though as I really have no way to reprogram it. Kevin Horton dumped the cart and can reload the cart data and change the battrey but you would have to catch him. Just do a quick search around the net for kevtris and you'll find his page. Sorry at work so no time to hunt it down ATM.

I emailed him, but no reply yet. I was really hoping the dump would go out to the public, so others can fix their systems without overloading Kevin.

Anyway of getting him to share the dump?
