So I got a ColecoVision. Yay me!
Now I'll admit, anything pre-NES I don't have much experience with. I bought a switchbox at Radio Shack today, and hooked it (and with it, the CV) up to the TV. That much I know is true. Now, whenever, I turn the CV on, a screen with two wide white lines comes on, and a "Bzzztt" sound can be heard. (Despite the sound, I don't think anything is getting shocked and/or fried.)
I've read somewhere else that it could be a problem with the On/Off switch, and that you should wiggle the switch on/off a few times. Doesn't work. I'm planning on taking it apart and cleaning the insides, just to make sure that nothing is dirty. Does anybody else know what the problem/solution could be?
