I'm going to be selling my G5. It's a great computer, but using the computer they made Lord of the Rings on to check my email seems to be a bit of overkill. I'll probably end up with an iBook, which may not be as powerful, but will be much easier to move when I do so in a few months. Anyway, here's a pic.

(The iBook on the right is an old G3 which I had prior to the G5-I sold it soon after this pic was taken)

Anyway, for the computer (1.6ghz, 80GB HD, 256MB RAM, DVD-RW CD-RW Drive) and the 17" studio display, both will all original docs, packaging, and software, I'd like to get around $1300 plus shipping.

I know most people wouldn't be interested, but if you want a great machine at a good price (new 1.8 G5's go for $1499, 17" Apple Displays go for $699), let me know!

Edited, looks like YAC answered his own question and edited while I was typing the response :)

I seriously need to learn to read...but thanks for the quick response I might decide in a couple of days would you be willing to do local pick up?

Yeah, local pickup would definately be the way to go. The G5 is as heavy as it is powerful :)
