Why do they do it. They aren't the only ones, but they are the main culprits!

What am I on about?

Well, Capcom have this habit of releasing their games with both a North Europe and South Europe variation...

The North variation tends to have the game (And packaging) in English, French, and German. The South has English, Spanish, and Italian...

Now you may say "Why are you complaining if both have English on them?" - Well, it's the principle that counts...

You go to an English shop, (Or buy on eBay - Whichever) and the game you get is a cheap import from South Europe instead of the default North European UK release...

It's just annoying seeing Spanish and Italian on the packaging.

More to the point - Why can't they do like everyone else and release the game with all languages on it? Why do they constantly have to release games like this?

I now have to ask sellers on eBay "What languages are on the back" Etc... And they always go "I Don't know, but it is PAL..." Yeah, I can tell that by the case, dumbass. When Asked again they say "It has English, so you'll be ok..." - Yeah, and...??? Answer my frigging question please!

Nintendo have their coloured triangle system - Basically, GameCube games have a green triangle on their spine indicating it is a UK release. Pink for Italy, other colours for other European countries Etc...

I think it's wrong that game shops can get away with importing a load of games from Spain or Italy on the cheap, and sell them here for even more profit than they would get if they were selling proper UK releases...

Yes i'm fussy, and yes, only the best is good enough for me! I won't rest until I get what I want!!!

Yeah, how dare they sell cheap games that everyone is able to understand and play
NEWSFLASH: 99% of consumers are not anally-retentive collectors who are bothered about these things.

Same here, I couldn't care less about what languages are packed in with my PAL game, as long as one of them is English and/or German :/
