I translated the website using altavista (this thing sucks!) and I don't understand the scrambled instructions and I went to the Lawson web site and I don't understand that either.

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I'm able to come up with models of my own like that by imagining it in my head but I don't want to do that with something like this because I want it to look as good as theirs does. That model sort of looks like a 3D computer model would look. Very well done. The other models at the bottom are just as amazing.

Anyone know how I could buy the print-outs to one/all of those models?

I absolutely NEED this because I am a HUGE Sonic fan. It's probably even an obsession LOL

Damn, I want this. Unfortunately, my Japanese isn't that good. Shit.

I had an idea for a program like you just posted. Thanks for posting that.

I can't wait to make a paper model of some of the 3D models my friend makes. I'm going to ask him to make a 3D computer model and send me the file so I can just "look at it". Then I will make the paper model of it, bring it to school and surprise him. That is going to be so funny.

oh my god...I would leave it in the package....because that looks too fragile to begin with lol Yet that is sweet

The whole model doesn't come in a package. You print out the sheets or they send you the sheets and you fold/glue/cut/tape the paper yourself to build the model.

Sounds like so much fun, plus you would have a nice Sonic figure to stand up in your room.

Sorry man, I searched til my eyes hurt. When Paper Mario 2 came out there was a site that had printouts, and all you did was fold as you were told to make them. I'm sure there is an english site for these Sonic ones also, I just couldn't find it. The internet is plum full of crap, and searching for SONIC ORIGAMI, Video Game Origami, Paper Sonic...etc....etc...left my retinas in a coma. I'm typing this with my eyes closed. But alas, I did find this little gem

Well, I've been searching for the past 3 days and STILL haven't found a site that has them, besides that Japanese site.

But, I did find some other web sites with 3D paper models. Oh, I figured out that 3D paper models are called papercraft or paper craft. I tried putting that in searches and came up with some other neat models. Here are the links:

This site has the most I've ever seen on a site but I can't seem to find any downloads or images for the diagrams:

This stuff is so cool. It's too bad I don't have the knowledge of making things on 3D animation software stuff, and a really, really good printer.
