Resident Nintendo guru Mike Etler has been keeping busy.

At this early stage you might want to stick to "US Releases" for a succinct list, as there are lots of games in the pipeline listed in the Rumor Mill section.

Have fun!

Balloon Trip was actually a demo of Yoshi's Touch & Go, if that's not clear.

If "Pikachu" was referring to the title at E3, I'd personally classify that as a demo/non-game. I don't think they plan to do anything with that, but I'm often wrong and/or abusing substances.

I'd add Super Mario 64x4 as a demo. It's Super Mario 64 DS, but stuck in four player mode, and without touch screen support. This was shown at E3. If that's not good enough to qualify, then neither is Balloon Trip.

I have screenshots of most of the demos, if you want to add them to the database. They're copyrighted to me, I'm pretty sure my exclusivity contract is expired, and they'll probably be pretty tough to find one day.

I'll have to add that. The info I had on it was virtually non-existant.

I read in a few places that work may have been continuing on it, most likely for a Japanese only release since an updated "Hey You, Pikachu" wouldn't go with their current US marketing. :)

Added. I'm sure there were other demos that I didn't get info on, so if you can think of others let me know.

The only other E3 demo was Metroid, but it's basically an early version of First Hunt. And hell, you're probably right about Pikachu, keep it around. It was certainly advanced enough to be marketable to some people.

Dont debate, just sit & wait.

Seriosly though, its to early for debates about DS titles.

What do you mean? Who's debating? There's no rarity/value information being added, just cold hard facts.

I'd bet it's Nintendo that would be abusing substances if they make that demo into a game...but once again LOL

From the guide's DS page:

Description: Released in November '03, Nintendo was adament about
Probably want to fix that!

Great list though, I had no idea that many titles were in the making. Wow.

Done. Thanks for catching that.

I have another 20 or so titles that I have to add, I just hate adding games listed in Nintendo Power's Game Watch list without finding more info first.

Why's that? Do othey usually never get released in usa/released at all?

Zoo Tycoon? Really? I never heard of one coming out for DS.

Also, two games you should add to rumor mill, are Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga. http://ds.ign.com/articles/569/569825p1.html

While they do list a number of games that are not going to be released in the US, I don't like the lack of publisher or developer info. Just throwing the name of a game out there doesn't mean a whole lot. I've added a few so far that are nothing but a name at this point, but I would rather spend the time and try to find more info first.

As I stated in the description, I think this is a Nintendo Power typo and was supposed to read "Zoo Keeper". I highly doubt M$ would start making DS games, through they still have Rare develop GBA so you never know.

Heh, didn't even bother clicking it.

I just looked at Final Fantasy III, and it says Rumored to be a port of the Super Nintendo game." From what I heard, it's going to be a port from the NES game which was never released in the states.

Also, Rayman DS has been pushed back to next year, although I don't have an exact date.

There's also another game possibly coming out, Monster Farm (Rancher) Jamboree.

Hope this helps.

Another one for the roumor mill.

I wouldn't add Mother 3, there are absolutely NO confirmed sources for that rumor. IGN could have put that up based on pure speculation, for all we know.

I thought FFIII Jap was FFII US (SNES). I was pretty sure FFI & II were the only two Famicom games.

Also, Rayman DS has been pushed back to next year, although I don't have an exact date.

I already have it changed in the file but it most likely won't be sent to be uploaded for a few weeks since we try to keep it once a month. The date I'm hearing right now is mid-March and UbiSofts press release stated it would ship in the US the same time as Europe, where it will be a launch title.

There's also another game possibly coming out, Monster Farm (Rancher) Jamboree.

I have that listed just as Monster Rancher since I haven't seen much of a working title yet.

Yeah, that Mother 3 info on ign looks very qutionable at the moment. If I can track down anything else on it I'll add it then.

Nope, it's a remake of Final Fantasy III, the Famicom game. It's a pretty big deal, as this is the only Final Fantasy they haven't remade yet.

Fixed. Thanks for clearing that up.
