I found out that my wife wants to get me an MP3 player for X-Mas - should I have her hold out for a PSP? It seems like it will be cheaper than a lot of MP3 players but it looks like it doesnt come with a memory card.

Unless you'r living in Japan, don't expect to get one until next year... around Feb or march (some time Q1 2005).
Also, in terms of it's MP3 playing performance... I heard it's quite good.
