Did you feel cheated by Kingdom Hearts?

This q is for those here who have played KH: Considering all the Square non-playable cameos were sorta overshadowed by all the Disney characters, did you feel kinda cheated by Square's characters involvment in the world of Kingdom Hearts?

I had a lot of fun with Kingdom Hearts until the ending.
I understand the "leaving the option open for sequels" thing that seems to have been a part of every RPG I've played in the last year but PLEASE! Who wants to play a game for THAT long and not have a good ending, or at least enough of and end to call it that.

I seldom judge a game solely by its ending, so I wasn't all that let down by Kingdom Hearts. It had a lighter feel than most of Square's RPG stable, but I rather liked the fusion of real-time menus and Dewprism-inspired combat, camera problems and all. The conclusion didn't disappoint me that much, and the preview video (of Kingdom Hearts 2, I hope) was gorgeous, even if you had to work for it.

As Kaine suggests, however, I would have liked a greater Squaresoft presence in the game. Why restrict the appearances to Tetsuya Nomura's characters, and only his Final Fantasy work at that? Why not include Celes, Robo, Edge, Musashi, Zidane, Kid, Rydia, Vivi, Mint, and other Square celebrities? Nomura was the only character designer on the project, I realize, but it couldn't have been that hard to work the creations of other artists into the game, especially for background cameos.

There is gonna be a sequel and I think there's an extra hidden ending if you get all the stuff too. Reason i asked this was I was reading on another board I'm part of of some people unhappy with just cameos of Square characters and interacting with them, save having one or two of them in your party occasionally.

I felt cheated, but not because of the characters. I felt cheated because the gameplay sucked. All you had to do was hit the X button thousands of times, what a yawner. I never once died or lost a battle.

yeah it would of been nice if the gameplay was more complex,also i hated the fact(and i have heard alot of ppl complain about this)that the camera angles would always screw you up in a battle always having to switch the camera around so you could see properly.
