wasn't too bad at all, took me 3-4 hours or so, but I'm still new at this stuff. i'd like to be able to actually make an adaptor so I don't have to destroy any more controllers...think I will try snes first as the joystick extensions are cheap.

you can build a nes / snes controller converter to pc lpt port for about 1 $
by using 5 scotydiods :P

yes, i've known about the retrozone for awhile, but this didn't really cost me anything since I already had the parts.

what is a scotydiod? you have a link? i'd like to put together a snes one for cheap, preferable without sacraficing another controller.

a scotydiod is an electronic component just like the 1N4148 component but with another value.
