For those of you who've played the 3(?) Bombermans for the N64, which did you like best?
Thinking of getting Bomberman 64 at EBX cheap myself now.

I played bomberman 64, and I thought it transistioned the series to 3d quite well. I also found it to be an awesome challenge to collect all the cards and multiplayer extras. That's the only one I have played, though.

I loved Bomberman 64. I'm hoping to pick it up again. I didn't enjoy the others as much though.

Bomberman 64 was bloody awesome, especially in battle mode 8-) I had this game back in the day, and from what I remember you could upgrade your Bomberman or something along those lines?
I thought there was only ever 2 Bomberman games on N64. I think Australia got the original and maybe Hero, the one without multiplayer.

Bomberman 64 was the greatest
Bomberman Hero....stay away from because there is no multiplayer :(
Yet I heard 2nd Attack was pretty good as well, since they decided to bring back the multiplayer mode again.
It's unanimous!! LOL
Bomberman 64 drove me nuts when it comes to certain areas......and boss fights.....but the idea of collecting stuff was what kept me playing. I definitely swore a blue streak when playing that game.
I bought a complete a few months ago....and I'm a lot better at the game now. :D

on a side note I somehow ended up with a bomberman 64 box kind of worn (I collect only SNES) and would like to get rid of it. I also have a DK 64 instructions in great condition. I'll sell them shipped for $6 or best offer (as long as it covers shipping) if anyone is interested.
don't mean to interrupt. :)

Bomberman 64 has an intensely good multiplayer mode, and the single-player quest is hard as hell. Especially if you're going for all the gold cards. :eek 2:
Second Attack I played through the 1-player quest, the ending is absoutely hilarious...100%'d it, seems they made it a bit easier this time. Have little memory of the multiplayer but I remember it being nowhere as good as the previous one's...
As for Hero, haven't played it, and probably won't unless someone just gives me a copy. :P

Where's the option for the OTHER Bomberman 64? ;) The Japanese-only Bomberman 64 (the US Bomberman 64 is called Baku Bomberman) totally rocks. :) It's the only one of the N64 Bomberman games to be a traditional 2D Bomberman, and I'd rank it as one of the best along with the Saturn and Neo Geo Bomberman games. It's also got Bomberman Land (or was it Bomberman Park?) which is a cool amusement park filled with tons of interesting mini-games (and they're actually very fun, unlike most mini-games in video games). There's also Panic Bomber and a Bomberman-themed Sega Swirl rip-off. I'm not too crazy about Sega Swirl, though, and it's not the greatest version of Panic Bomber either (again, I'd go with the Neo Geo).

Just got Bomberman 64 today and enjoying it. Question, anyone else found the controls, mainly picking bombs up, a bit tough to get used to?
