How about a thread of highscores/accomplishments? They dont have to be THE best...just YOUR best. Something youre proud of. Think youre THE best at Kaboom, Asteroids or whatever? Lets see it. FINALY beat something like Faxanadu on NES or Ecco on DC? Take a pic of you and the screen...show us what youre proud of.
I wouldnt expect this to fill up too quickly but keep it in mind for the next time you do something great.

my biggest accomplishment has been beating cyber-lip with only continuing once, may not sound like much , but play the game and see how hard it is not to die 20 or 30 times do to no diagonal firing capabilities. im still waiting to see someone who has beat it in less lives than me.
ive also beat strikers 1945 with my friend like a million times and when we play i generally never use more than 1 continue, at most i finish started on my first life in my second continue.

I didnt really mean for this to be a "I caught one THIS big" thread. Without the pictures, what would set this thread apart from any other thread? :/
This should be perfect for those moments when youre thinking "I finaly did it...I wish someone was here to see it!"

I've mentioned my World Record run on Atari 2600 Halloween before, and I'll mention it again.
Sniderman's World Record run on Atari 2600 Halloween - achieved Oct. 31, 2004 - besting his old WR high score by another 1 million points. (http://www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=22&pi=5&gi=2502&vi=3780)
And a bit of cut-n-paste for those who don't want to hit the link:
Halloween
Variation: default settings
Platform: Atari 2600
1 100.00 % 2,446,650 Tim Snider 11/02/2004
2 26.71 % 653,400 Mike K Morrow 12/10/2002
3 1.51 % 36,900 James Carter 05/11/2001
4 0.58 % 14,175 Lafe Travis 06/11/2004
5 0.10 % 2,475 Ron Corcoran 05/11/2001
Rolled the score twice. Far as I know, no one else has ever rolled it ONCE (every 1 million), let alone TWICE. :D

DP has sort of high score pages hidden around somewhere, doesn't it? I remember posting a few a long time ago.

My 13:05 completion time on Ninja Gaiden 2 (skipping the cinemas, obviously). I thought I was one of the best in the world... Until I found the video made by Stx-Vile that has the game completed in 10:34, but some of the things aren't possible on the real game (Wisps take at least 2 seconds to materialize, on his video he kills it instantly.)

Right now, I've got the #1 Xbox Live high-scores in Tee'd Off, Play-Boy, and Black Hole tables in Pinball Hall Of Fame. Coming real close on having the high-scores on the rest.
My 2nd greatest accomplishment is probably being ranked #56 in the world in Top Spin singles.
Gotta love Xbox Live.

I tried looking around for the page, but had no luck. Was it scrapped? Anyone else remember it? I know I didn't imagine it.... :hmm:

There are some seroiusly good gamers in here... I never knew. LOL. Sniderman, how do you score so high on that Halloween? (I don't have it, or an Atari, so don't think I am trying to steal your secrets and trying to dethrone you)
I don't have any world records, or any internet rankings, but I can beat Super Mario 3 without getting hit and in under 14 minutes. It might not be world class, but my friends think it is pretty impressive.
I actually completed Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage for the N64. I also completed Morrowind for the XboX as well.
What's the big deal? Go and grab a copy of Aidyn....and YOU complete it!!! LOL

Yesterday I broke my alltime Atari 2600 Kaboom record for like the fifth time this week. My current high score is an astounding (to me) 44,818 points. And the best part is that I'm constantly improving and have no doubt that this record will fall during my next semi-daily hourly session. I once thought that 999,999 was absolutely impossible. But now I'm starting to believe... baby steps: first 50k, then 100k, then the world!
