I finally beat this game today, and now there's a void :)

I know of (and have) solomon's key, but the lack of password/save feature is insane. maybe with savestates, but...

what other games are kinda along the lines of this? i played lolo for a minute today...and i dunno, didn't care for it too much.

I believe that there's a Fire 'n' Ice 2 proto somewhere, but I could be confusing it for something else.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Game Boy Solomon's Club, and I'm pretty sure it has a password system.

Well, on Game Boy it was Solomon's Key, wasn't it?

So, something like Fire & Ice... How about Kickle Cubicle?

that could be the solomon's key 2 proto you are talking about? (which was later named fire n ice here in the states)

Spherical (http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=988) for Commodore 64 and Amiga. Great Solomon's Key style game were you have to guide a sphere to the stage exit. Has passwords.

Thanks, KJN! I used to have that game years ago, but I could never remember what it was called.. I also remember playing a PD clone of it on the Amiga, as well.. now if I could just remember the name of that one...

tang tang for the gba is a clone. rather poor if you ask me, but it uses the exact same play mechanics. obivous rip off of solomon's key.

I really wish they'd make a NES Classic version of Fire 'n' Ice and Kickle Cubicle. Both are insanely fun.

Monster Rancher for GBC and Zipang for PC Engine are basically the same as Solomon's Key, except Zipang had 5 new levels (all at the beginning). If anyone here needs the passwords for Zipang, I have them 8-)
