View Full Version : Would someone sell me a copy of the Metroid demo?

I was going to stick this in the Buying & Selling thread but though that it would maybe be better suited to here...
I have a US DS with the demo. However, I ordered 3 DS's for my mates but could only get the Japanese ones. We are all choking to play Metroid multiplayer but I can't get a hold of any demos separately. Soooo, I was wondering if anybody would consider selling me theirs if they're bored of it or aren't interested? Let me know if yer up for it! :)

I was thinking somewhere around the $15 - $20 mark. I stay in the UK so postage would have to be a consideration in the total cost for me...
How does that sound? :)

I thought you only needed one cart (or should i say 'card') between you to do multiplayer?

Metroid demo requires that all players have the game card. The demo came with the system afterall and everyone who got a DS has the demo.
Are you looking for the games b/c of the compatibility issue between the US and J version? too bad if they don't link up to each other, but perfectly understandable - really though if this online worldwide multiplayer shit is going to blow up, they need to make all region versions compatible for multiplayer battles.

Only the US version of the DS comes with the Metroid demo. Neither the Japanese or Asian versions come with any sort of demo. It's not a compatibillity issue - I just don't have enouhg copies of the demo! As a matter of fact I have played mutilplayer Mario 64 with both the US a Jap carts (although, granted., only one copy at a time is needed) across both the US and Jap DS's and didn't have a problem :)

You do know that a First Hunt Demo sold for just over $80 before shipping on Eay.

And I saw one at a local used shop for $30 in my town. Definately insane if you ask me.
