Just managed to get hold of one of those new slimline PS2's, only to find I STILL can't get online with it!!!
It turns out I have to register the product online so that I can aquire a disc to be able to get online with...
Is it too much bother to actually include it in the box???
Think of all those people who will be getting one on christmas day, but then have to wait a few days (Perhaps upto 28 days maybe) before they can actually get online and play with others...
It would've been nice if they'd actually said something on the box about this...
Now i've had to put certain things on hold for a few days and go all weekend with no online play.
I only bought the console because I thought it would be just a simply plug and play online, but apparently not.
