Awesome find! That's the Konami Laserscope and is quite rare I belive. You shout the word "Fire" and it will shoot in the game. I doubt it would work very well, considering the technology, but I'd love to have one 8-)

Got one...looks great on a shelf...next to useless as an actual controller. Just make sure no one is around when you try it out and repeatedly shout "FIRE" at ever increasing decibel levels....

got a boxed one myself, you can shout any old thing into it, its not that clever. i would hesitate to call it rare, unusual and funny for sure. the box even suggests that you can also use the headphones with your walkman, for that hip "drive thru" look ;)

If I can recall, "Laser Invasion" is one of the games that the headset is specialized for.

Lol! I have a funny story about that thing. When I was 13 or 14 there was a competition for TMNT II for the NES. Whoever could get the highest score in 10 minutes or something would win a Laserscope. Well, naturally I beat everyone and won. It was a cool device, but I was a broke bastid back then, so I sold it back to them used for like 15 dollars.

Wissh I still had it! It was pretty cool....beats the shit out of the U Force and Power Glove!

The U-Force is the best controller to use for Top Gun.

Yeah, I have one of those. It works better then the power glove, but once again another really strange NES controller. Post a picture with you wearing it. LOL Seriously though nice find, its a r4 in the DP guide.

I have a 10 dollar off coupon for one. I will see about getting a picture of it up.
It was sold for use i think soley with Laser Invasion.
The coupon is in the back of my Laser Invasion manual actually.
