The Flintstones - Viva Rock Vegas for the PAL DreamCast - Does this game actually exist?
In a list given to me by Sega themselves, they list this game as being a "Racing / Driving" genre made by "Swing!" - Yet I can't find any trace of it anywhere...
Mind you, the list looks a bit dated, as it doesn't yet have dates filled in for a few of the last releases for the console...
They also missed out Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and Freestyle Scooter, so i'm not taking it as gospel truth...
What other games were in development but never surfaced? I know we were supposed to get Half Life, but that never came out (Was there an American release of this???) and also a few other games too... Most of which switched to the PS2 instead.
So I would guess that means there were in fact only 217 PAL DreamCast games (That's including Qui Veut Gagner Des Millions and Taxi II Le Jeu by the way)

Half-Life and Propeller Arena were both developed, never released, and leaked all over the web.

i know there was a Castlevania game in production, it even had a release date of early 2000 (not too long after launch). it never saw the light of day though. there are a bunch of pics from the game scattered around on the net though, have a look...
What about Dee Dee Planet (http://www.iacnet.ne.jp/~shift/040/ddp/index.html)? According to this (http://www.assemblergames.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1339) the first print run was destroyed before shipping because a bug was discovered. Then the game was cancelled before it got a second print run.

Yes, Resident Evil 3 did get a release - But it was just missing from Sega's list they sent me. Perhaps just a little mistake along with omitting Freestyle Scooter as well.
I think at one point, Spider-Man was rumored to be not getting a release, but they must've ressurected it as I have one. I believe it is quite rare though, and few and far between.
No way as rare as Taxi II Le Jeu or Evolution II, but still quite sought after.
Anyway, just really wondered whether the Flintsones game was actually released... I know it came out on the PS2, but don't ever recall it being on the Dreamy.

The Flintstones games has not been released, but the White Disc/Press Disc version has come up a couple of times.
Freestyle Scooter and Resident Evil 3 have both been released. I have PAL versions, and I have seen the US versions of both. Freestyle Scooter is called Razor Freestyle Scooter in the US if I'm not mistaken.
And I think you're quite right about the 217 PAL titles.

Flint Stones wasn't released, a few dozen white labels exist though
yeah the Sega list has some flaws ,i got the same list from them for doing the PAL DC Guide here at DP, check it out, if you had you wouldn't have had to do that work on your own, it's all in there...

Just a rumor but I heard of a demo disc for the dreamcast that had a demo of Gunvalkyrie coming soon on the dreamcast. The game would later come out on Xbox. Not sure if its true though.

ESPN Baseball Tonight with Barry Bonds was completed but put off a year for refinements and to be released during the following baseball season. Never heard from again.
PBA Bowling 2001 was completed but never officially released until it hit the web. Later officially released and re-named AMF Bowling on the Xbox.
IHRA Drag Racing (SP?) was completed but never released. Later released on the PS2 and Xbox.
I know I am missing some. I have to go back through my DC mags and see what else there was as many other games were pretty far into production but never released. Hopefully someday someone will come across finished or completable prototypes and release them. :)

There's more than a few copies of the Flintstones white label around - a German website was selling them for €20 not long ago, though that soon got upped to €100. All gone now, but someone on Assembler recently traded one for about £200 worth of stuff.
