Ok, first of all, I am brand new to this board, stumbled across it while looking for some source that could tell me if the NES game I found on ebay is worth the 25$.

Its a Zelda II Gold Cartridge with complete package (Box, Plastic Cover and Manual) in MINT A++ condition and it goes for a Buy Now price of 25$. I mean, its incredible, the box still has the shine to it, no bend edges, nothing...

I dont even OWN an NES yet (but every other system made by Nintendo, ok, excluding the Virtual Boy) but it looks like a sweet deal.

So, what do you gusy say, seems to me like there are some pros around. Another thing, is there an adapter so I could use said module with the european NES I will surely purchase in the future?

No.. it's not worth it.

That game is very common. I wouldn't pay a penny over 15$ for it. Here's a good link you should look up on the fly for prices. I use it as my MAX guide.. never pay over the amounts there:

You can always get the DP guide, and use those as MIN prices.

Good luck!

Okay, wow, thx for the fast help. I thought it might at least be an okayish deal.

But judging by that price list, which is SO bookmarked by the way, I am not even too happy about my F-Zeo purchase, similar conditions.

I know both games are not very rare, but I was of the opinion that the condition of the cart and boy would make the price - oh well, live and learn I guess...

A lot of people on eBay buy games with their heart, rather than with their brain (especially around this time of year).

There are many games, that are quite common, that sell for a lot more than they're worth just because they were popular back when, or because its series is popular (e.g. Final Fantasy) while other games are quite rare, but do not go for much.

A guide is a great helper is weeding them out. A guide basically helps you by telling you what games are worth it to buy online, and what games can actually be found at a local shop for dirt cheap.

Good luck!

It's really up to you, but I've got 4 Zelda carts that cost me free-1.49.. up to you..
