Its funny - this topic keeps popping up (I've posted it once) and no one seems to have one yet. Perhaps I'll snag one after the holidays and report back...

Some of the other models look cooler, but cheaper. This model is more interesting. Aside from the way you have the game facing away from you when its plugged in :( I like to see label art..

Mot only that, but it doesn't have NES control pad receptors making finding a replacement controller a lot more difficult, plus the handles resemble the SNES in that it has four fire buttons.
Just plain seems odd. But finding replacement controllers is a big deal to me.

as i stated in another thread like this, the store i work for sells them. they work great. the sound and video quality is amazing good. if you just want a famicom (or nes with pin adaptor) to play the games and arent intereste din collecting, then i'd say snag one

the controller ports look like genesis/2600 ports to me...i'd like to know if they work on that system.

but for that price, you might as well buy the 'real deal' with decent d-pads.

nope...the d-pads work, but genesis controllers have no select button, nor do the a,b,or c buttons work

the controllers with them work fine
