damn.. thats an odd one.., so im guessing it doesnt really have its own control mechanism, thats why you shove the d-pad end of the nes pad into the "mothership" it has a little thing inside that presses on the d-pad??

Oh, man, I've seen that before! Quite a while ago, I might add.
Yeah, it pretty much is just a mechanism that operates the Control Pad making it feel like an "arcade" stick.

I have a very similer stick I found at a radio shack recently. Its called an Archer Joystick Docking Bay for NES. Its Boxed and everything too.

Its the same stick with a different name! It even has that picture of the joystick sitting on the NES on the front of the box too. Hmmmm. :/

I saw one on Ebay.nl once, incl. ship $15 orso, meh i didn't wanna spend money on it,if i found it at a flea orso for $5 i would but for $15 i'd rather buy a complete game.

I remember seeing those things at the shack as well, I wouldn't be surprised if they still had stock somewhere...never looked like it would work worth a crap, though.

Actually, Archer is (was?) one of Radio Shack's in house brands. It was not uncommon for RS (or TRU, EB, etc) to buy large quantities of an item from Docs, Mad Catz, etc and have them branded for their strore. It's not done as much now, but it was a huge thing in the accessory market in the mid 80's to late 90's

Got three of those (Suncom, i also have docking bays for the NES from that company to, those one's where you can put 10 or 20 games in ... licensed by NoA to), but they suck as hell. Worthless to me.

Amen. I have a Quickshot controller (I think it is QS) and I have a second model, exactly the same, except it is made by Archer (it even says Radio Shack and /or Tandy on it) for the NES. This clearly is what had happened.

thats quite odd, how much did you pay for it? It would be cool to try it out, and if it sucks, you still got the cool box!
