Supposedly they have a sale going on where if you buy one ps2 game at $4.99 you can get a second one for free. Any ideas on what the games could possibly be? Maybe some of those budget Crave games or...? I'll probably be making a trip out there on tuesday, but would like an idea of what to look for.

When we were out at Menards, which was before the BOGO, the $4.99 games were really generic budget titles. Hunting, bowling, a Tom Clancy knock off. I hadn't heard of any of the title, but I haven't been keeping up with PS2 releases so much either. I think we bought the bowling and hunting games, but that was a few weeks ago and neither of us have been motivated to even figure out where we put them, if that gives you an idea how exciting the games looked.

Ther weren't Crave, I don't think. They were Natsume or however you spell the Harvest Moon company.

They also had a ton of $20 games for PS2, GC and Xbox, but it was pretty much the usual suspects.

If they have any of the same games Farm and Fleet sells (Illinois / Wisconsin / Iowa) then they might have Rygar, Champions of Norrath, Intelivision Lives, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Tak and the Power of Ju Ju... pretty good selection at Farm and Fleet! (I quit my job there just last week :( )

I dunno. If I was a "sky is falling" type, I'd say it feels a bit like 1984 again.

Good thing I'm not, eh? ;)

Just returned from Menards and the selection of $4.99 games was indeed all Crave games. I picked up Mojo! and Clubworld. They also had Trigger Man, Future Tactics, Pro Strike Bowling and apparently at one point they also had Seek and Destroy which I would've picked up for sure. Anyways, not too bad of a deal, two games for $5.29 after tax.

Anyone messed around with Clubworld before? It looks like it has a pretty in-depth synth and drum system.
