A question for all you MMO players...

Just wondering if anyone has ever bought a brand new mmo only to get the message "That CD-KEY is already in use" ? i bought lineage 2 off of ebay facroty sealed...i just got it..and it is just that factory sealed.....and alas im stuck waiting for there support team to e-mail me back...im so angry!!! :angry: :angry: :angry:

Resealed, he got the cd-key and used it.

Same thing happened to me with UO: Third Dawn once. I bought it Software Etc. (Now EB I believe) and the CD was used. Apparently someone bought it, used the key and took it back. They just resealed it without a second thought. They just explained what happened and gave me a new one.

But yeah most likely he used the CD Key and resealed it. Or he bought it from someone and went through what your going through, and just resold it. Gotta be careful when being these types of games on ebay.

In anycase if it's anything like UO you should be able to buy a new CD key from someone for a few bucks. Let me look around and I'll get back to you.

Well seems it's to "new" I guess. Can't seem to find anyplace selling just cd keys. I hope it works out for you though.

thanks...the only reason i posted was because i pulled the seals off and it ripped the box art at the top, i dont see how he could of got it off and reattatched it without leavin a single mark

Well from what I have heard about L2 you are better off, lots of hacking, pk'ers, and farmers. Hopefully you got it cheap at least.

l2 sucks but no cause of pkers, pking makes that game, 12 year old asians destroy it.

i return mmo to best buy all the time. hehe.
