NES Character Tournament; Who's the best?

Alright, I've wanted to do this for awhile, so heres how it will go.


Round 1: #1 vs. #2 - January 1st
Round 2: #3 vs #4 - January 8th
Round 3: #5 vs #6 - January 15th
Round 4: #7 vs #8 - January 22nd
Round 5: #9 vs #10 - January 29th
Round 6: #11 vs #12 - February 5th
Round 7: #13 vs. #14 - February 12th (#15 automatically makes it to next round)
Round 8: Winner of Round 1 vs. Winner of Round 2 - February 19th
Round 9: Winner of Round 3 vs. Winner of Round 4 - February 26th
Round 10: Winner of Round 5 vs. Winner of Round 6 - March 5th
Round 11: Winner of Round 7 vs. #15 - March 12th
Round 12: Winner of Round 8 vs. Winner of Round 9 - March 19th
Round 13: Winner of Round 10 vs. Winner of Round 11 - March 26th
Round 14: Winner of Round 12 vs. Winner of Round 13 - April 2nd
Round 15: Winner of Round 13 will be the winner - Contest will end April 9th

Each week I will make a new poll with each character in the round, and the most votes within a week will win and go on to their next respective round.

Now, for characters.

Each of you submit *15* of your favorite characters. The 15 most popular characters submitted by January 1st, 2005 will go into a hat, and I will draw the rounds that way.
