Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja on the NES

Anybody knows this game? I got it from an online auction and I can't find any info about it be it on the Rarity Guide or on IGN. It is a PAL game so maybe it's a Europe only release? Or is it called different in the US? The company that made it is Ocean.

The game is quite nice, it some side scroller beat'em'up like Double Dragon. I have some problems with the controlles because I got it without instructions but I like it.

Any info would be nice! :)

Cool, thank you! I wasn't able to find that, I'm a dork when it comes to using search engines and stuff.

But there is another thing I'd like to know. I remember a game I played as a kid also on the nes. It was called Bad Dudes and it was for sure a different game. The sprites of the fighters were more clumbsy but it also was a beat'em'up game. Was this some other sort of the series? Or is my memory so bad that it's the same game (I don't believe that).

Maybe it was Bad Dudes. I've played this game on C64. For a second I thought the title of the thread said, "Bad Dudes vs Double Dragons". I was like, "Oh SNAPZ! I gotta see this!"...but nevermind. LOL

Yes it's the European version of Bad Dudes. I think it's the original name of the arcade game.

Pretty strange though that they added the word "ninja" here.

That was the original arcade title, as you can see here. I must say I do prefer the arcade over the NES version.

The NES version is "meh" compared to the arcade version, but keep in mind that the arcade game is pretty weak in the first place. LOL

Bad Dudes doesn't come close to the playability of better BEU games like Double Dragon and Final Fight. Stick with those. Or with pretty much any Taito or Capcom BEU over any Data East BEU.
