I won an auction ending Nov-27-04. I sent the money out about a day or two later. Then a few days past until i get positive feedback from him on Dec-07-04. I emailed him twice asking iif he had shipped the item. I got no response.

I then emailed him a third time, with no response. The item was listed with US Postal Service Parcel Post. It says 2-9 days. I also put insurance on it. So it's almost been a month since I've won the auction.

So what I'm asking is, what are my options if I don't recieve the item?

Thanks for the help.

It all depends on the payment method. How did you pay for the auction?

Money order. But it seems weird that he hasn't answered me or emailed me saying he sent my item. Or am I just getting too worried here (this is the 6th item I've ever won)

Plus I've gotten a package from Canada already and I just won that around the same time, using the same shipping.

I'd definately be concerned, especially since you paid w/ a money order and can't apply for a charge back if you never get it. I normally dont like to accuse sellers of trying to put something over on people as some times things do get lost in the mail. But the fact that he hasn't replied to your emails makes me worry and assume the worst.

If you use aol some people's mail servers will actually block your messages as spam... just so you know. The guy could for whatever reason, simply not be getting your mail.

What was his feeback like? All good? Since he gave you a positive you should give him a fucking negative since you never recieved your goods. Your stuff is either lost or he's just a lying fuckturd on sending it. When getting no responses your screwed majority of the time. Sorry man.

I actually got negatived once for this. I emailed the guy after the auction stating where to send payment to and that I would email him a confirmation when I received it. The guy decided that he didn't want to send payment, but instead ask me more questions and so he started emailing me. I'm here assuming he's mailing it to me so I wait like 5 days and a negative shows up on my account. This guy sent me 10 emails in the span of 5 days that all got sent to my junk mail folder. Then the assclown negs me for not responding. Needless to say, I always check my junk mail folder.

Back to the topic, I would be worried by this point. I always use Paypal now, but my rule of thumb when I was using mail orders was a max of 3 weeks from my mail order going out to my item coming in. After that I started sending angry emails. Has he received any other negatives on Ebay recently? Possibly indicating that he's screwing over other people as well? Usually when sellers go bad they hit a bunch of people instead of the random one.

Insaneclown could you be just a little more negative? :P

Maybe the seller is a lazy fucktard, if he never shipped?

Why would a seller leave negative & then not ship? That doesn't hold up well either, especially if insurance was purchased there should be a paper trail.

Maybe lost, maybe not, maybe forgot to ship, maybe blocked email, maybe lots of things.

Often good to email thru the ebay system, ask a member a question link, also maybe try other auction as other bidder account to catch up (see if seller is avoiding you) on seller by emailing on different items.

His feedbacks are all positives and he recently sold a bunch of things to others that all seemed to come in. Now, since I got a positive feedback from him I assume he recieved payment. I emailed him through the contact member thing. I guess I just hope for the best and if I don't get anything, I know where he lives...

Another day passes...and nothing. What are my options from here if it doesn't come?

If you still have no response after 30 days and the item was worth between $25 and $200 USD:

Good luck.

I went through this process once. It hurt to have the $25 fee taken, but it was better than nothing.

If his purchase was in fact lost and the guy wasn't pulling a fast one you think the seller still deserves a negative?!?

BTW, people who have had bad ebay experiences should include links to the auction in question.

It's possible his mailbox is full, so he can't recieve any more mail. Or....don't they send YOU a notification e-mail for that? I don't know. :P

Well I try my best. :P

True...there is alot of lazy fuckturds out there...and maybe he is one of them.

Probably the seller didnt ship so he deserves a negative. If there was insurance well...then the buyer better do something about it.

Thats what I usually do...is e-mail the seller for a shipping quote or something before I place my bid. Too bad the buyer didnt do that first even if they have 100% feedback.

Yup! The buyer got a positive from the seller right? Since the buyer didnt get his product...then he deresves a negative. He wont respond to e-mails...or anything. Since he wont say...I guess 1 negative wont hurt.

Yeah...we could've used a link...

Auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=49227&item=8148557396&rd=1

Still haven't gotten it yet!
Anyway...if it doesn't come by the 27th (30 days after it ends) i'll try to do everything I can to get a refund on the money order, if it wasn't cashed and was lost in the mail.

Damn you deal was almost better than the one I got for my gen/cd combo. Cept I found snatcher in my system:)

It is odd that he would send a positive, proving he recieved payment, then not send. Get his contact info from ebay there has to be a correct phone number or thats grounds for a temporary suspension.
