Oooooh! That would let me use my wireless PS2 controller on my Xbox! :D That'd be GOOD. Now...the real question is...how does it map the buttons to the PS2 pads? Are the B and W buttons mapped to L2 and R2? Or ?

Wow. X_x
OMG that looks almost exact to the original, play all the recently released and to be released SNK games will be real fun, especially Metal slug.
I am defintley buying this the day it comes out.
"We plan sale even at the major home appliance mass sales store and the retail store which handle the PlayStation 2 peripheral device of entire country. Price is 5 and 800 Yen (including tax 6 and 090 Yen) "
I found a site for the Stick

I have one of those and B and W are R1 and L1
but man those neogeo repro sticks look nice...I'd probably get a pair

Not necessarily... I have a Logitech PS2 wireless pad, and adapters to use PS pads for my AES, Dreamcast, Gamecube, and PC. Out of those, the wireless only works on the PC. I imagine it probably needs some voltage or something that is not provided by all the adapters.
I wouldn't mind picking up one of those sticks to use with my Neo Geo, though, if they're cheaper than regular AES sticks and the button layout works with my adapter. I like the old-style sticks a lot, but I wouldn't agree that they're the best arcade sticks ever made for a home console. Best pack-in controllers for sure, though.

That is one sexy, sexy stick. I just hope that it has a bit more weight than the AES version..its lightness was its only flaw, IMO.
I cant play Neo games well on any other controller!

Here's to hoping it controls as nice as it looks. :) We don't even have a single SNK PS2 port, but we'll still be getting this, haha. It would be worth the money even if it was just for display.

Bumping this back up to the toip to ask a question. The translated price of "5 and 800 yen". Should that be 5,800 yen? that comes out to about 56 bucks. Has anyone heard anything new about this stick? Will it be available here? If not, i'll import one!
Chris
EDIT: I found it on another website, and it is taking pre-orders at 5,800 Yen. That's a pretty good deal for this stick, in my opinion. It hasn't shown up on Lik-Sang yet.
It's beautiful.....

Preorders:
Neo Geo Stick 2
PRE-ORDER THE ORIGINAL STICK HERE. CLICK ME!! (http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-1dfa-71-m-15-neo+geo+stick+2-84-j-70-grv.html)
Or get the Neo Geo CD one here...you have to buy the game with it though. That still wont stop it from selling out. Obviously you cant play the game without a mod chip but the controller will still work fine. Ive been using Japanese memory cards and controllers on my unmodded US system for years.
PRE-ORDER THE CD CONTROLLER HERE. CLICK ME!! (http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-1dfa-71-40-15-king+of+fighters-84-j-70-cke.html)
I guess the price isnt too bad considering the projected quality and youll be lucky to find one for $150 when they DO sell out. Maybe you can find a better deal elsewhere but youd better hurry before theyre gone.

$42 shipping makes this a pretty expensive controller. Does anyone know if this is going to be coming out in the states or not? I'll pay $110 for this if I have to, but I defintely don't want to if I can pick it up here later on for $70.

I havent found anything from Sega/SNK stating it will be released in the states. If they do release it then it would probably be if/when we get KOF '94 Rebout.
