Which Yoshi Model Do You Prefer?

I have to say I'm partial to the original, I like em both but the original is there to do what it does best, be Mario's Dinosaur Taxi. :)

Whenever I see the new model Yoshi I always ask myself

"Where's his friggin' tail?"

If they'd just give him a longer tail again, I'd probably be fine with the current model.
That and change his voice to something that doesn't sound like a two year old.

Same here. I would go with the original, but now when I look at it I see a 'dumb' dinosaur that was no more than an accessory for mario. As for the solo version see joshnickerson's post.

I like the original Yoshie. I love the way Mario rides on him, and then to get him to stick out his toungh (sp) he appeared to smack him in the back of the head. Truly a classic moment in SNES history. LOL

Original. But then i prefer most of the original or older characters to the new ones.
They made them all fat and jolly looking. Even the bad guys are starting to look happy.

I always liked the original version of him. And I absolutely hated Nintendo's decision to make him sound like Alvin and the friggin chipmunks. Too bad that voice is cannon now, so we'll probably always be stuck with it.

Well, not to be a dick, but I think the picture of the revised Yoshi isn't that good. The original Yoshi picture is twice as big and you get a view of his whole body.

Anyways, I picked the revised Yoshi. He has been given his own personality and isn't just there like he was in Super Mario World.

Ever seen him on those old Super Mario World cartoons? He sounded MUCH worse and had this whiney voice. I much prefer the rubber ducky voice, thank you.
