When playing the DS for a extended preiod of time does any of your hands get numb like mine?

I will be setting there playing Mario 64 DS and one by one each finger goes completley numb, then I will have to "take 5" to get my feeling back.

It only happens to my left hand, right hand when playing GBA SP.

Maybe a good time to give my-self a "stranger"...

LOL

I have had that problem with left hand once with Mario 64, but then I realized that I was holding the DS too hard.

This happens to me too, but my hand doesn't go numb. It feels achey, and it really hurts after a while. For some reason, I don't feel it when play a game like Mr. Driller or a GBA game, only Super Mario 64 DS...

Probably because you are getting achey from playing with the d-pad, hurts me becuase I push on it as if I was gouging a eyeball

Yes, but I use the D-Pad for Mr. Driller and GBA games as well...

I've played for hours straight and never had a problem.

Same here. Before my DS arrived Iread a few posts on this and other forums regarding cramps in the hand et cetera and I was a wee bitty worried aobut it - I play bass guitar and suffer pains from playing that too badly! But never once have I had a prob, and that's while standing holding the thing at work. Although I do prefer to sit down and rest it on my knee... :)

My left hand would go numb with the d-pad or touch screen, and then I switched the controll style to "touch screen" (Mario DS) which allowed me to move my thumb down and to the left more to controll Mario. It got rid of those camera scroll buttons and allowed me to put my thumb there. Now I have no more problems.

I bet this happens with most people with their left hand on the DS. Mine starts hurting too, from the D-Pad.
