Hello,

This is my 1st posting ever on DP (great site, by the way), and I hope this is the correct category for this posting. I have recently acquired a number of Sega Genesis systems (about 20) that are not functional, and I have a few SNES consoles that are not working. I wonder if anyone can direct me to a place (or maybe you have a manual?) to figure out how to fix these things! The only kind of repair know-how I have is cleaning the 72-pin connector on a NES system, but I would like to expand my knowledge and figure out how to repair all different kinds of systems (Atari, etc.) Any help in this matter would be appreciated!

Also, I am looking to trade for a copy of Qix for NES or GB. I have a number of games available from various systems. Please pm me if you have one of these; thanks for helping a new guy out!

The first part does not work, unless you are selling a few of those systems. The second part works. Also, give us a list of your games so we can see what we can trade. Welcome to DP, enjoy your stay here. :)

Sorry for the misposting of the first part of this. I guess I just got overzealous. I guess I'll repost on the technical board. If anyone is interested in a non-working Genesis console or two (unfortunately no extra cords or adapters are available), I would be willing to part with some of them. I have both type 1 and 2 models. They are in ok cosmetic shape in case you need to cannibalize them for parts. A few bucks or a game trade per unit would do the trick for me. As for the earlier reply concerning me listing games: I have several games for N64, NES, some for SNES and a decent batch for Atari 2600 (plus a few for 7800 and 5200). I wouldn't say they are highly collectible, and not really very rare (although I do have one of the ToeJam & Earl games for Genesis - Panic on Funkotron, not sure how rare it is). If ther is sufficient interest I will post a list. Also, I promise to be more concise in the future (if you are still reading this post, congratulations for making it this far!)

Thanks, all!
