Not one but two Tengen Tetris carts. One loose $5.00, one CIB $8.00 (talked them down from $12 haha!)

Gamecube loose, $15.00. It was just the cube, no controllers, no cables nothing.. and it worked for about 3 months.. lol

Strawberry Shortcake 2600 loose $1.00

VB Jack Bros. CIB $9.00

PSOne w/ Sony Screen complete $45.00

Someone mentioned Super GameBoys, I have about 4 or 5 of them. This one store here locally sells them for $2.99 loose, so I grab them whenever they have them in stock.

Due to them been made in extremely low numbers (150) they normally don't sell for less than £600. I managed to get mine fr £150. :D

Definitely the boxed O2 with about 25 boxed games from work, including 2 of the board game sets @_@

The runner up would probably be that free boxed NES challenge set, or that 12 dollar Pico w/games from that garage sale.

- Great Working Asteroids Arcade Machine for $100 (just sold recently for $500)

Hmm...toughie. This is my first year collecting...
I'd go with the Sonic Boom! music cd that has the music from some Sonic Games (including Sonic Spinball) on it. Why? Two reasons. 1. No one seems to have it or even have heard of it, and 2. I found it in a stack of soundtracks that came home from the videostore, so I got it for FREE :D

Runner up: This didn't make best find because I'm most likely gonna have to sell this. Sitting on the For Sale rack at my dad's videostore was Fox Hunt (PSX, R8) boxed (no manual) for $7.99
Man, I would have liked to have kept that, but I'm gonna try to sell it to make some bucks for the store :|

A coke wins? Does it have a label? Are you keeping it?

For me, offhand it was an NES test cart for $5. Keeping it.

Traded my complete Final Fantasy III for a complete NES Uncharted Waters in almost-mint shape, other than a crease and some wear on the box. BTW, my FFIII was in, at best, good condition. :D

I also scored my sealed Titus SOS for all of 12.50 Canadian :D

Tough call. I had several finds that I would consider really good, but nothing jaw-dropping to the collectors around here. :P I'd say my best find was Dracula X: Rondo of Blood for $70 total from some guy at an online marketplace.

that would be Saturn Dragon's Dream - multiuse online RPG that never officially released. Funy thing is I was told about this and searched high and low with no success... then one day I got the rest of my stuff left behind in Japan and guess what I found! I did get this one back in those days but completely forgot about it till I rediscovered it... :D It's one of my prized collection now...

Klonoa and Motor Toon GP for PSOne complete for $15 each.

Not the greatest prices, but by far my favorite finds of the year in the wild.

I was also able to get the entire Namco Museum collection for PSOne, complete, first printing for around $10 each on average.

Now that the search function is working again, I was able to dig up this thread.

My best video game find of 2004 was a brand new Gamecube Game Boy Player for $8 at a Salvation Army. Who would give something like that to a thrift store?

In the realm of not-quite-gaming finds, I got 2 Atari Video Music systems for $25 each.

I don't consider eBay purchases to be "finds" but I did get some great Supercharger deals last year. I now have a nearly complete collection; just missing Survival Island, the box for Rabbit Transit, and a couple manuals.

From ebay a Nintendo and 12 games for $322. No I'm not joking. After selling the system and 3 of games, that auction paid for last year's Roth IRA contribution.
