While I'm waiting for Zoo Keeper to be released I'm been playing the web version...

What's yours?

Not sure if it's my highest, but earlyier today I got 14510. I think I have something in the 16K's once. I tend to lose it around Level 9. Damn baby heads throw me off. ;)

You click on two adjacent pieces, and those two will switch places temporarily. If one of them comes in contact with 2 others of the same type, then those 3 disappear. If not, the 2 pieces that switched places go back to their otiginal spots.

So is this basically what the DS version is going to be like?

Controls *lovely* on the touch screen with the stylus (just tap'n'drag, works beautifully). Quest mode seems more extensive with 10 quests to do instead of only 8 on the GBA and some of the challenges are different (including a really hard one where you have to get one of each animal without repeating or it resets)...

...One other thing that is nice about the control - it allows you to "surprise ahead" where possible. Meaning that you don't have to wait for a cascade to finish before starting to swap the next beast, *unless* the target block of the second surprising is affected by the cascade.

It's a small thing but it makes for more fluid surprising.

So it sounds like a "deluxe version" with additional modes and a bit more posished controls...

Yupper. Been playable on the Palm for at least two years. Just graphics of animals instead of jewels. Decent game.

But who can tell what will be popular? Snood was insanely popular on PC when it is nothing but a sad Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble clone. Popular enough that it had a GBC version which probably sold more copies than either BAMs for the system.

My highest is 10,610. I thought you could only switch pieces that were connected from the left/right side. It's not that bad of a game. :)

Thanks for the info! I managed to get 4500ish. Not bad I guess. When I first heard about this game I though it was going to be like the Arcade version.. :(

Ah well. It's still pretty fun.
