Early Christmas This Year - Here's What I Got....

It was decided that my two younger sisters will go spend christmas with their grandparents this year, hence our family decided to have an early christmas here.

Here's what I ended up getting in the way of games:

GTA: San Andreas
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
Sonic Mega Collection Plus(PS2)

So far I've only been able to delve into the Sonic Mega Collection, very awesome that I ended up getting this, because aside from having lost my first Sonic game in a fire, my Genesis controller is seriously messed up almost to the point of being unusable. The extras are also very very cool.

There's not really a point to this thread, other than to share what I got for christmas. This is the first time in a long while that I've gotten games for christmas, and I know my dad definately worked his ass off to make sure everyone got some nice presents this year, which I really appreciate.

If anyone else happens to have to celebrate an early christmas for whatever reason, it would be great if you would please share whatever game-related gifts you ended up getting here.

My parents are having their Christmas with my grandparents while I'm going to my boyfriend's house. So we had our family Christmas last night. I picked out the games but here's what I've gotten so far:

Also been watch 1 episode of Last Exile each night on the run till xmas eve, well tonight its the night! gonna find out the ending to Last Exile! oh yeah!

Tomorrow i know i am getting DoA3 from my mom. But thats only because my brother ended up getting a GCN instead of an Xbox for his Xmas gift.

I got one main X-mas present earlier this week,, due to the size of the box, it was a pain to wrap it up, a classic PC for all the lovely Windows 95 and 98 games without any hassle of XP. I restored it, upgraded it, and it's so nice now. Only cost $60 shipped (thank you Ebay)

i doubt ill get anything game related. my family sees my stuff and knows not what to buy for fear of duplication. thats what kind of sucks about having a big collection...holidays yeild minimal to no goodies that are game related, and junk store shopping usually yeilds initial excitement followed by disappointment. oh well...maybe ill be surprised.

Well, I buy a game every single day of the year now I have eBay at my disposal, so it wouldn't really be a Chrsitmas present if I had asked for a game...

In fact, it's like Christmas every day of the year for me!!!


I couldn't think of anything to really ask for - So my parents are just going to take me and a few friends out for a meal after Xmas, and maybe slip me some cash to buy something rare for my collection...


Besides, i'm a fussy bugger, and they know how picky I am when it comes to games and Dvd's - They know they wouldn't be able to find half the games I would ask for, or in the condition I would want them (They don't have eBay access)

And they also wouldn't know what game or Dvd to buy me seeing as my collection changes every day!

Opened a couple at the family christmas gettogether tonight. I got:

(I know he's getting an XBOX tomorrow. I never really wanted one, but all his friends have one and he wants one now. He saved and saved and had enough to buy a used one, but my grandpa got him one for Christmas. Now he'll be able to spend his 'box fund on games!)

Also, tonight my dad was fixing a lamp and he uncovered a 'broken' PS2 from our videostore. Apparently it's been sitting there for about a year and he had forgotten about it :/ He said that it refused to read any discs and the guys at work had given up on it. He knows I take apart and clean my PS2 often, and he said that if I could fix this one, I could keep it :D

Cool. That's the very best day for a bday...mines the 13th of Dec. too. :D I turned 21 this year and went to vegas.

We haven't actually had xmas here yet..we are gonna wait for everyone close to be here before we start opening. It'll actually be nice to get my living room back (were like running out of room with all these gifts)
