PlayStation Pizza Hut Demo

I wasn't aware of this until i was looking at Digitalspaces collection.
There were 2 variations of this demo?

I have the one with Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Tomb Raider III, MediEvil and MGS.

What was on the other disc?
Or am i just really stupid and some how misread it?

Before I was really into game collecting, a friend of mine who worked for Pizza Hut gave me a box of around 300 of those discs. I really wish at this point I hadn't thrown them away.

I know I saved a few of them so I'll check when I get home. I remember they are blue and I remember Crash on them for sure.

Didn't another version have Parappa the Rapper or something? I remember playing the hell out of a Parapper demo, but not the game itself (I really should pick that game up), is it possible that was it? Otherwise I can't imagine any othe demo disc I could of had.

Tomb Raider The Last Revelation.

As far as I understand Pizza Hut released 2 demos. This is the 2nd PS demo. I'm not sure if this is what you want or if your asking about variations of the first demo disc they released

That demo most likely came with your system. I did the same thing with that demo, I must have played it over 100 times. Such a great game.

Anyways, even though it's already been answered, here's the games on both discs:

Disc Two:

The Next Tetris (playable)
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (video)
Sled Storm (playable)
Gran Turismo 2 (playable)
Spyro: Ripto's Rage (playable)

Note: if you put Disc Two in a CD player and go to track 2, you can hear a remix of "Dragula" by Rob Zombie (the song appears in Sled Storm - oddly enough, the song also appears in the full version of GT2 but not the demo). I couldn't find any audio tracks on Disc One.

There was also a contest to win $500,000 or "other Playstation prizes."

I never saw a disc with MediEvil or MGS though. I wonder if this means there's a variant out there...

Oh, and another interesting item: in the GT2 demo, a few of the menu screens in career mode are accessible, and they look different from the menu screens used in the actual game. It's not that friendly on the eyes though.

I have both discs. I know where both of them are and haven't played them in a long long time. Did anyone win that contest? Cause I never heard about anyone winning it. Flack you could have thrown away the winning package, if someone else already didn't win, lol.

One is in a blue sleeve, other is in a purple one. I coulda sworn that both talked about a big prize (one being 100k the other being 500k). Ive still got mine sealed at home. I'll take a look at them when I get out to my parents.

The third is listed as "Pizza Powered PlayStation Give-away" which is why it eludes the pizza hut searches.

Ah, that third one must be the demo izret101 mentioned. Thanks for filling us in.

A correction to my original post - the way to tell if you won a prize or not was to look at the disc. Near the center ring there would be something like "Sorry, try again" or something different if you won something (no idea what that is since both my discs are non-winners).

I remember seeing these things at PH back in the day. Of course, back then I had no PSX, so I had no reason to get them. My only thought back then was "I wish Nintendo did Demos."
