I know how you feel, I'm in the same boat, my Game Crazy had it for $30 NEW too and I decided I'd get RE3 for the same price instead and when I had the money pick up RE2, before I knew it all their copies were gone and now I'm left having to pay buttloads for the game. x_x

I think I am gonna be getting 2 or 3 copies of RE 2 for game cube....I could also get copies of RE 3 I believe....anyhoo....I was gonna put them on ebay because the latest RE 2 is gong for 90 some odd dollars O_O ...So this is my overall greed....I know we all here are about getting cheap games but if anyone here wants either of these games we can chat before I ebay them off for my own greed....

PM me

Thanks

They're only going for so much because it's the holiday season. In a month or so they'll come down some.

I know how you feel. Took me a while to find it myself.

LMK what you think a reasonable price is for both new and used.

I think I can find one for you, though it may take a few days or even weeks before I can get around to it.

BTW are you planning to order the special double pack of RE0/RE1, or since they're the same games, not bother with it?

Don't know if I should get the GH versions of those games, etc. Or start to work on acquiring the Biohazard games.

Yea I was debating whether or not I wanted that 2 pack....I mean they are greatest and I am sort of against that...I don't have RE1 but I do have zero...so I don't know if I can justify spending 30 dolars for stuff that is Players choice and I already have

Oh and I have the games already to sell, 2 copies of RE2 (1 w/o book) and 3 RE 3, all I needed was what anyone who wanted them, was what they were willing to pay I did not expect my friends here to pay an "ebay price" but it would help to make a little profit form my original payment...note:none sealed

Well, I'd still be interested in both RE2 (With the book) and RE 3 so let me know how much you'd like for both of them (I'm figuring they were like $34.95 used right?) Also, hows the condition of everything (case, manual, cds)? Thanks!

Almost like we're digressing from the original topic, but I can never resist a bit of RE discussion. I might buy that double pack now considering the info you just mentioned. I have the non GH versions of those 2 games, so getting the GH ones would be alright, as long as there's something slightly different - a cardboard slipcase or something along the lines of GTA double pack. I tend to go a little nuts for RE stuff. BTW - my latest acquisition - Gun Survivor 2 - Biohazard Code Veronica X. The one RE game never released in NA.

EricRyan34 - LMK if you can't make a deal w/ Mike.
Over the past few months I have seen loose (complete I believe) copies of RE2 and RE3. As well as a couple of sealed ones... I know, great evilbay fodder, but there's always time considerations as well (only online on weekends). Not looking to make tons of $, but my dilemma is that my two games are sealed, and it seems a waste to open them when they command so much $ attention. But dang it, I want to do a GC RE marathon. Play through each of the games one by one...

I can just imagine how twitchy I'll be every time a door opens after that. O_O

Yeah I have RE3 and CV for GameCube both sealed, and I've never beaten either (actually I've NEVER beaten a single RE game before) so I'm not sure if I should open them or not. I could just play them on the PSX or the DC for that matter, eh, I don't know.

Both are great games. I don't know if I could play it on DC. Too much relearning of the controller. Although RE3 for the DC is nice in that all of Jill's alternate costumes are unlocked from the start. And there's more of them for that matter, than on the PSX.

Never beaten an RE game? In that case I wouldn't start w/ the Gamecube remake of #1 or CVX. The others are all pretty managable.

Not to be nitpicky but I don't think there are any extra costumes, the costumes are just unlocked from the beginning.

You are right about the DC version. You have a choice of eight from the start. However in the PSX version, upon completion of the game, you get a key that lets you into a secret area w/ 1-5 costumes. The number depends on how well you did on completion of the game, or the number of times you have finished it.
