how do you play devil dice?

i just got Xi [sai] little (devil dice) in the mail today for my wonderswan and i am lost on the concept.

would anyone be kind enough to run down the concept for me since i cant pick through the direction to figure it out heheh

Well in the PS1 version all you basically do was roll a dice to try and have it land with a certain number face up...and if it touched a certain amount of other dice with the same number then you get points.

For example: Say you see 3 dice all next to each other with a 4 showing...so you take a different dice and have it manage to land right next to the others but at the same time have a 4 showing. With 4 dice all showing "4" you get points...

2 dice touching both showing 2
3 dice touching all showing 3
4 dice touching all showing 4
5 dice touching all showing 5
6 dice touching all showing 6

Really simple, yet very addictive game!

EDIT: It's harder to explain then it is to actually play the game.

i believe you got to get matching numbers touching but also if the number is lets say 5 you must have 5 dice must be touching, if ihe number is 2 then 2 dice must touch and so on

3 2's will also suffice, as will 10 6's (etc etc)

If you roll a dice next to the same number that is disappearing, it will also disappear.

To get rid of ones, you need to roll it by disappearing 6's (I think)

Everything else is subtle mechanics that you will pick up on very quickly.

If you have a PS2, pick up BOmbastic. Basically, its Devil Dice 2, and it has the original Devil Dice to boot! Great game, and you should be able to pick it up for cheap now.

i always contemplated getting it. i'll wait till after x-mas though, MR Driller and Xi Sai Little on my won=derswan should tide me over

I used to play that on PS1. It is a great game. On a side note, at NWCGE 2k4 there was a group of guys playing the sequel, Bombastic, and it looked like they were having a BLAST!
