Launch Team 2001 Xbox, with silver "Great Work - Bill Gates" underneath the jewel. Well fewer than 100 made. On the left is a large-style green controller - these were never commercially released (only S controllers were released in this color).

Blue Debug Playstation., NTSC-U/C, DTL-H1001.

Ten Million Model Playstation, with box, blue Dual Shock controller and documentation. This system is pretty rad - it actually has a satiny feel (as does the controller) quite unlike the plastic feel of a normal PSX. It doesn't have the rough sheen of the Yaroze, though, so I'm not sure what it is.

Grats on the 10 million playstation. Did you get it on ebay? Out of curiousity, how much did you pay for it?

The 10 Mil unit was off of eBay.
Theres only been 2 on in recent memory. The first one went for 1300 to BuyAtari (I lost that auction with no time left).
That other unit just recently showed up and was picked up with a BIN by kevin. If he feels the need to say the price he can.

The Xbox was bought in a private purchase. There have been 5-10 of these sold in the last few weeks - one guy at Microsoft sold his for over a grand, and word spread at the office, so a few other people sold theirs. They will never be sold in such numbers again; the production numbers are extremely low.
I got the 10 Million, as Papastu said, in an ebay BIN. It was cheap enough that it was a great deal, but expensive enough that my buds almost killed me when they heard what I spent on a blue Playstation :-). You can actually see my system over at assembler.roarvgm.com in the Sony section - 35 is the number of my PSX, though those images came from the previous owner, afaik.

I normally couldn't care less about limited edition systems, but I would love to have that Xbox! Way out of my price range, though. Just give it to me.

Whats the story behind the 10th million PSX edition? Why does it cost so much?

Again, how much did you pay for these?
I still don't understand why people post great stuff they get and refuse to tell how much they paid, like people on the internet are gonna do something bad to them.

It doesnt matter much to me tho. As long as you have the stuff, thats what matters :)

Well, ya see the original post date of almost 8 months ago? That would probly explain the lack of recent reply from the OP.

Those developer playstations aren't as hard to find as you'd think. A lot of software companies are unloading them either because they don't make PS1 games any more or they're dead internally. I managed to snag one for $75 and got somebody to repair the motor in it for another $25 (he didn't charge me labor). I try to just keep it around for smiles and not mess with it much, because I have a PS1 that's region free anyway (no I didn't chip it, it was just that way when I got it, much to my surprise).

Yeah, this thread is pretty old. I had a link to it in a thread in B&S because someone wanted to see a pic of the systems (I'm possibly selling the systems at http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=64872 ). As for price, the dev systems are cheap (I paid 75 for the blue, 125 for the green). The LT XB and 10 Mil Model cost a lot - put it this way, if I sold both at the minimum price I list in the B&S forum topic, I would make less than 200 dollars total.
