I don't know a whole lot about old games and how rare they are, but this sparked my interest. I came accross somewhat of a time capsule and what if I were to say that I have a an unopened perfectly mint original Gameboy? On a scale of 1-10 how rare is that? How much would that go for on e-bay?

Put it on and find out.

Of course, you'd have to provide enough evidence that it is indeed unopened - You can't just say that! You'd have to have some sort of original seal or something.

I'd say no more than sixty quid tops if it's what you say it is. It's what i'd pay.

Elaborate on this "Time capsule" for us - What else have you got? Or was it just that?

LOL

I don't collect the Gameboy, although I'd probably be willing to pay around what it went for when it came out...around $80 or $90 Canadian, less if there was no proof (ie photo evidence :P), and that's just what I'd pay. I have no idea what someone who collects Gameboy stuff would pay for it.

Okay, so what it actually is, is I bought it from a guy locally. He only wanted 10.00 for it! There IS a smalll bit of shrink wrap missing from the back, where they took the price tag off, but besides that, it's good. By the way, it the bundle pack with Tetris and the link cable. Would it be a good idea to remove the old shrink wrap and have it re-wrapped or should I leave it on?

If it's the original wraping for the LOVE OF GOD!!! leave it alone.
