REGION modded Sega CD!! Supergun!! LOTS of other goodies

OK, got lots of stuff to move right now. I'm still clearing out some space around here, so here goes.
Just finished my first Sega CD mods! I've been working on this for literally 2 months or more now and I've finally gotten it down! For those of you unfamiliar with this mod, allow me to direct you to Arakon's webpage (http://arakon.dyndns.org/tutorial/bios.html) for more info. Basically, this mod is a replacement BIOS for the SegaCD attachment. You see, with the Genesis and SegaCD only about 20% of the carts are region locked out, but I believe all of the CDs are region locked (this is completely opposite of the Turbo Duo/PC Engine). The bios has all 3 different regions on it (UK, US, and Japan) and is switchable with the two switches you see installed. The 4th position on the bios chip is the game Columns, playable with no CD installed!
This mod has been available for about 3 years, but Arakon (a member here and at many forums) estimates that he's sold (for about $39 each) about 60 or so chips. For those of your looking at this and thinking, "Hell, that's easy. Just install a socket and two switches and done!", you should be aware that the Sega CD PCB is VERY VERY sensitive. I destroyed 2 model 2 boards optimizing my technique and so has Arakon. The traces are very fine on this.

I'm looking to get $130 shipped for each of the two Model 2 Sega CD's I have right now. Consider that it'll cost you nearly $100 to get the SegaCD and the bios and then about $15+ for priority insured shipping and you can see this is a bargain.

Dose the modded SegaCD II come with the modded Genesis II shown in the pics? And is there anything that you may want to trade for it?

No Genesis system is included with the Sega CD attachments. $130 for both the modded CD and a modded Genesis would be ridiculously cheap and is actually under cost just to buy the parts and shipping!

I did forget to list that I'd sell the modded Sega CD with the fully modded Genesis model 1 for $200 shipped and with the Genesis model 2 for $190 shipped. I could also include a non-modded Genesis 1 or 2 with the CD systems for about $30 depending on condition. One thing to note is that some UK games may have the sound slightly out of sync if using a non-modded Genesis unit due to the 50/60 Hz difference.

Only trades I'd consider are for Turbo Grafx/Duo/PC Engine goods or arcade PCBs.

I tried to do both mods and it seems that it doesn't work for those. The PAL (50/60 Hz mod) seems not to work on this system, don't know why! And I installed a CD region mod in another X'Eye and it gets to the bios screens fine, but the CD does not respond properly. This is most likely due to the fact that JVC made a custom bios and probably also custom controllers for the CD drive then. Really pissed me off :angry: . Still looking for a solution on that.

As for the region modded Duo's, a nice boxed one will be about $250 shipped.
