I did a search and couldn't find anything to answer this ? I have a Sega CD 2, I just recieved a copy of mortal kombat and I was noticing that every now and then when the game stops to load in between battles it makes this really load shitty clanking noise, what the hell is that?!! Should I start saving $ to buy another sega cd or is this normal and what could just be "SEGA ISSUES"

SEGACD2?

Is it missing the magnetic cap that is on the lid part? It clamps down on the disc to keep it from slipping. Slipping is noisy.

Nope, it's not that, it almost sounds more mechanical. Usually when it happens the disc stops and starts to re-spin. It happens right before the "now loading" screen pops up.
