I'm getting tired of browsing through faqs and walkthroughs and still not finding an answer. What happens when you finish all 7 characters' quests?

It's been a long time since I played that game, but if I remember correctly, it opens up some sort of special area, a mansion or castle, I believe. I think it had NPCs from all of the 7 characters storylines inside. Kind of just a nice bonus to top off the game. I don't remember much else about it like if you fight anything there or get anything special other than to talk to the characters that are around. Sorry if that's not much help.

Do you get to play as Joker? I remeber something about that. I was never much into Saga Frotier, so I have no idea if i'm right.
