I picked up a loose copy of Chavez II for the SNES today. Online Rarity guide lists it at R8. Is it really that good of a find? Anyone have any more info about this game? LMK. Thanks.

Mr jiggles, that ws just wrong. You don't insult someone like that. He may have overpaid on it, but at least be civil about it. I wouldn't pay over 30 for mana myself, I got my copy for 25. yeah its loose and got it off ebay, but its mine and I love it:)

The game is fairly easy to find loose. Complete on the other hand is really difficult. I've been looking for a complete one for the last year. :(

Atarian75 and Videogamerdaryll, you two got some nice deals on that game, congrats to both of you. I have yet to see one in the wild (although it could be contributed to the fact that I'm in Oregon; I've heard it's easier to find in states which border Mexico).

Hmm...picked this one up at gamecrazy a few months ago...never bothered playing it. They were having that buy one get one or whatever so I got it for free, but it was technically 1.99. I don't think I'll resell it as I guess it's pretty hard to get a hold of and doesn't seem to have much potential to sell for anything decent loose.

Thanks..
I almost sold it with a SNES compilation awhile back figuring I'd find another easy.
(I've had this game for the longest..It's one of my oldest SNES titles that I've had)
Then I realized,I've never see this game anywhere..I don't run into it at:
Flea Markets
Garage Sales
Video Store game sales etc.
I have yet to see another copy of it in all my travels.

Well, even though it is an R8, Chavez II doesn't sell for a lot loose. I sold my copy with the box and book for 55 though, so you should look to complete the game.

Sticking up for the OP? No one was bashing him. You bashed Shawn Carr2o. And there was no thread jacking involved. All I did was call you out on your uncalled for comment. And if that is how you are being nice well..... :hmm:

Why is the comment about secret of mana in the thread anyway? I read that and I was like, what?
You can probably sell the chavez II for $15-20 if you wait long enough. I've seen them go for that much on ebay.
I have a chavez II I am selling right now, complete, make me an offer.

couple of things, logan.
1) Maybe it's just me, but i've noticed a bit of a crackdown on flaming/trolling on the boards lately.(nothing wrong with a crackdown. IIRC, one person with "one hit point" right now, once crapped quite badly on one of my threads.)
2) Remember how bad you felt when people were mean to you on the WVGCA board?(I had to shut the damn site down because of those three...) Yeah. Might want to keep that in mind before posting garbage like that.
And on a third, unrelated note, I am getting old. I feel a hundred writing this.
And on a fourth note, Atarian: It's not too costly of a cart, and it's basically the same as Boxing Legends of the Ring, but with different fighters.
So this game is rare for a reason. It sucks. Thus low demand loose. Thus, the DP value is a high mark for dollars on this one.
You paid a good price for it, double your price and you're pushing it....
